ROLE OF A NETBALL COACH

A netball coach plays a vital role in shaping both the skills and character of their players. The focus is on developing confident, capable athletes, building a strong sense of team connection, and creating an environment where every player feels supported to grow.

Coaches at Phoenix Netball guide their team through the winter netball season by leading one training session each week (around one hour) and coaching games on Saturdays (approximately 1.5 hours). Across the season, coaches support their team through 14 regular‑season games, plus finals for competitive divisions, helping players learn, improve, and enjoy their netball experience.
