Draw
Please refer to our calendar for latest information. Draw information will be available closer to fixtures commencing.
Game Day Netball Liaison
All parents are encouraged to sign up and volunteer for a shift. They will receive their family levy back at the end of the season. For more information about volunteering opportunities,
please visit our volunteer page.
Uniforms
At the start of the season there may be a few players who have not received their uniforms yet. If you have a player who is in that situation, please just have them wear black bike pants and a pink top (if possible) and take your training bibs with you to the game so that those players can take the court.
Parking
Please make your families are aware that the parking at Downey Park can be quite challenging at times. So please remind them to leave early to allow enough time to secure a park.
First Day of Fixtures
Just a reminder that the first team on the list is to collect the score card from the control desk. There will be 2 forms on the first day, the scorecard and a registration card. Both will need to be signed by the players so allow plenty of time to do this (especially for the little ones). Remember to take a photo of the girls signatures as they will need to sign the same way every week.
If a player is away for the first fixture, then they will need to attend at the control desk the following week to sign the registration card. They CANNOT take the court until this is done. For a little player, please have someone take them to the control. Players will need to know their age group, division playing in or colour and team number.
Forfeiting
No team likes to forfeit, but if you need to, please email Registrar at
registrar@phoenixnetball.org.au no later than the Thursday before or Friday morning at the latest, as we need to inform Downey Park by 10am on the Friday otherwise the club will be fined and that fine will be passed onto your team.
General
Please ensure that all players bring enough water, especially for those first few games as they are always generally still hot days.
